In 2008, the Sichuan earthquake on 12th May and the Beijing Olympics have brought together the hearts of the Chinese people in the whole of China as well as overseas. At the same time as China is rising to become a world’s super power, the gap between the poor and the rich / well-off in its land is also increasing significantly. Many Chinese still live in poverty. The aftermath of the Sichuan earthquake disaster still demands persistent effort to persevere with the task of rebuilding the city. In addition to the physical task of rebuilding, there is also the great need to revive the spirit of broken lives. Confronted with the challenge of this age and the opportunities it offers, we ought to take part in concerning for the suffering of the Chinese, whom we regard as our own people of the same ethnic origin, as we offer our kind-heartedness (to perform works of mercy), give graciously in order to bless. Upon this rationale, we obtain the vision to establish the “Glo-bless”. We wish to unite in heart and mind with other Christians and pastors that together we can carry out the mission of this ministry.
